(1) to be born in a barn

Someone leaves the door open.

Were you born in a barn? / You left the door open.
(2) to be in someone's shoes. Being in a difficult situation. I wouldn't like to be in his shoes right now / to be in his situation.
(3) to get upset An emotional, nervous person. She gets upset so easily / nervous, angry & emotional
(4) to have no idea Someone doesn't really know what they're doing. He's got no idea / That expert doesn't know anything!
(5) to keep someone at arm's length. Someone you don't trust or think could cause problems. Keep her at arm's length / she could be dangerous.
